My Chat With Steven Adler

Posted by: Alan Cross (Explore Music)

Aug 4 2010

I had a chance to sit down with original Guns ?N Roses drummer, Steve Adler, the guy who was kicked out of the band for?wait for it?doing too many drugs and drinking too much.

And if it was bad while he was in the band, that?s nothing compared to the abuse he inflicted upon himself over the next twenty years. It?s amazing the dude isn?t dead. Here?s our conversation.

Good interview and from a few of his other interviews in seems that his story is always the same so I think Steven is telling the truth in every interview. Or at least a good amount of the truth.

I liked the part when he said "I can't talk for shit but I can still play" well those aren't the exact words but close.

I hope Steven gets his hug from Izzy and Axl one day.
