http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/music/pop-rock/slash-deluxe-edition/527518

It's out in Australia on the 13th August, just in time for the Slash Australian Tour.

The album was produced by Eric Valentine (The All-American Rejects, Good Charlotte, Queens of the Stone Age) and is to feature multiple musicians including four of the five original members of Guns N' Roses: Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler and Duff McKagan. Singer Axl Rose is the only original Guns N' Roses member absent from the Slash line-up. The record features an all-star roster of guest musicians including (in no particular order) Ian Astbury (The Cult), Chris Cornell, Rocco DeLuca, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Myles Kennedy, Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmeister, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Duff McKagan, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother PLUS a rhythm section of Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction), Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails) & Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers).Deluxe Edition CD includes 3 extra audio tracks & 51 minute DVD (Acoustic versions of 'Back From Cali' & the Guns N' Roses classic 'Sweet Child O' Mine' PLUS 'Paradise City' featuring Fergie & Cypress Hill)

Track Listing
Disc 1:
1. Ghost (Ian Astbury)
2. Crucify The Dead (Ozzy Osbourne)
3. Beautiful Dangerous (Fergie)
4. Back From Cali (Myles Kennedy)
5. Promise (Chris Cornell)
6. By The Sword (Andrew Stockdale)
7. Gotten (Adam Levine)
8. Doctor Alibi (Lemmy Kilmister)
9. Watch This (Dave Grohl/Duff McKagan)
10. I Hold On (Kid Rock)
11. Nothing To Say (M Shadows Of Avenged Sevenfold)
12. Starlight (Myles Kennedy)
13. Saint Is A Sinner Too (Rocco Deluca)
14. We're All Gonna Die (Iggy Pop)
15. Paradise City (Fergie & Cypress Hill)
16. Back From Cali (Acoustic - Myles Kennedy)
17. Sweet Child O' Mine (Acoustic - Myles Kennedy)

DVD
1. Making Of the Album (Documentary)
2. By The Sword (Video Clip)
3. Behind The Scenes From The Video For 'By The Sword ' (Part 1 & 2)
4. 'Back From Cali' (Live At The Roxy, Los Angles) ft. Myles Kennedy
5. 'By The Sword' (Live At The Roxy, Los Angeles) ft. Andrew Stockdale
6. 'Nice Boys' (Live From MTV Classic Launch) ft. Angry Anderson
7. 'Starlight' (Live From The MTV Classic Launch) ft. Myles Kennedy

I'm not a fan of the album cover art for this version, they just reused the By The Sword single artwork.

I'll definitely be picking this up though! beer

Myles used to do an acoustic version of SCOM at some of his solo shows, so I would imagine it would take the form of how he used to do it.

I don't love the covering of the Old GNR stuff as there is really no need for it, but as long as it is like PC was where it is basically a remix of the song instead of him just re-recording SCOM with Myles on vocals I can live with it.

Well I for one can't wait to get this album.

Has anybody seen Myles sing SCOM acousticly? It is just amazing, simply amazing.

Here's a video of Myles singing SCOM acousticly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HP7SI8XAiw

I'll gladly pay 18 -20 bucks again for this cd. At least this time I won't have that good aweful  Alice Cooper song.

^ I love the stuff he is doing with Slash on his tour, but I can't really say that I like the acoustic version he performs of SCOM. Just my opinion.

Hi, guys.

Don't know it this is the right section to post this, but I was wondering if any fellow board members will be attending Slash's concert in Sydney next monday.

Cheers,
