Make sure your iTunes is showing the Last Played column....

It's under View options.

Before i joined the forum and right before Live Era came out, I probably had a couple year period where I didn't listen much. I had worn it out so much over 6-7 years that i got deep into something else and didn't listen. Rediscovering it though was magical!

I go through phases, as a teenager I'd listen to em 24/7 (literally, on my walkman while I slept  hihi ) but now I don't really have the time to listen to stuff, mostly in the car.

I listen to GN'R everyday, it really is part of my daily routine. I don't even think about it really, it just comes naturally. I know alot of people on this forum maybe listen to alot of other bands as well as GN'R. But for me GN'R is the only band I listen to, I'm not into anything else. I can say that happily and honestly, I am happy and content that I have discovered GN'R, the only band I'll ever need.  Smiley

There's not a single day that I go through without listening to GNR.

Ever since I started to understand what they are, at the age of 12 (my first contact with GNR was at the age of 6), i basically listen to them everyday. GN'R's music helped me to go through some serious shit in my life, like depression and all the bad and self-destruct stuff that comes with it. I even wrote a small paper for college this semester, talkin' about how GN'R changed the way I read the world around me.

Plus, AFD is a great record to listen while you're running!  ok

The longest I went without Gnr tunes was 41 hours, 37 minutes and 23 seconds. It was the worst 41 hours, 37 minutes, and 23 seconds of my life. Up until your post, I had forgotten about that painful time, but your post brought all the horrific feelings gushing back.

I tried to explain a "walkman" to my 11 yr old daughter the other day.  She rofled   rofl

I went a long time...years without GNR, except when they came on the radio or whatever.  I got back into them when I had a bit of a breakdown in 2002.  Haven't let up since Smiley  Though, I do go periods without listening now.  I haven't listened in a few months right now.  I bought a truck with a CASSETTE PLAYER in it.  Was CD even sold on Cassette??  No music for me  Undecided

Chinese Democracy out 2014!

« Reply #12 on: July 16, 2010, 05:30:25 AM »

It changes.. GN'R used to be the only band I ever listened to. Then came RHCP, Pearl Jam, The Clash and others that I also enjoy very much. So I don't count the seconds or anything, but according to last.fm GN'R is clearly my top band on every list except on "last seven days". And no wonder Tongue

But I think it's pretty close-minded to only listen to one band.. I never get bored with GN'R, but I think everyone should listen to different kinds of music, it's only good for you and your needs Grin And you can always return to GN'R and remember that these other fucking great and amazing bands don't even come close to what GN'R is.

Just listened to a bunch of CD songs... damn shame Catcher and Prostitute aren't singles..

Catcher is probably my favorite song on CD currently. The lyrics are just some of the best.

I haven't listened to GNR since about December, right before the tour started. I just can't justify listening to them -- they're one of, if not my, favorite band but with all the shit going on and never being able to see them live -- kinda drags the feeling down.

I catch it on the radio every so often, but I haven't set out and said 'Oh, lets listen to some GNR' in a long long time.
