Sorry, think they are all moving to Australia permanently to play weekly shows and house parties.

Absolutely nothing down the pipes yet...it'll probably happen, but not until the new year....

My biggest hope at this time is that since they're going down under in December, maybe they'll swing up the the US early next year.

I doubt another Chinese Democracy tour would be successful in the U.S., unless it's a shared bill which is highly unlikely.
It would probably go over better if it's done on the heals of the next album, should Axl decide to put it out. We'll see...

G N' R doesn't need to share the bill with another band. They should release and promote a special edition of
Chinese Democracy
(restored artwork/lyrics, DVD, unreleased tracks, etc.) just before the tour begins (Christmas 2010?)...

In the current state of the U.S. economy, the band would absolutely have to share a co-headlining bill with another established act. That's why they probably backed out of a U.S. tour when it was learned Van Halen would not be touring in 2008-09.
Just recently in my area, the Eagles played at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, to 35,000 people. The stadium holds up to 68,000 people.
They also had the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban opening.
Bon Jovi will be playing the same venue next week, and they had to add Kid Rock to the bill because of poor ticket sales.

GN`R Not Need USA
In reality, I think the GNR and US both need each other equally.
I'd love to see them live again, as would many many people across the US.
I'm sure Axl and company would love to rake in the $$$ from a tour across the US with all the venues as well.
