Anyways, this is fucking great news,

GnR in an 80 000 + capacity stadium kicking ass for 2 1/2+ hours (potentially)

its going to be the event of the year in Australia for sure with lots and lots of publicity before and even more after the event.Without gnr , its just another boring race event Tongue

I know Jarmo is trying to get a point across here, however:

I posted the article about the possibility of more shows, and it was deleted after the official press release was already out. So actually, there was "official confirmation" - or as official as what we've got so far. I posted it hours after the twitter announcement so nothing was secret. No idea why that was deleted unless the board admins feel we shouldn't speculate on shows. I didn't mention it at the time because it was just a small part of the article, but it did specifically mention the possibility of dates in other territories.

I don't have the link to it any longer though.

Guess we'll find out eventually...

Don't get stuck into the politics of why was "this was deleted" or this and that.

If something got moved, there is obviously a good reason. I'm sure the mods don't go around deleting threads for no reason for their entertainment.

When your at a GN'R show, every little argument or people getting worked up over threads being deleted on an internet forum seem so silly. I think people sometimes take things like this, as a personal attack, when in reality it was done to prevent people getting their hopes up too early.

Was not my intention. I don't really care, it's just that someone brought up the article, and someone else brought up an explanation that didn't fit. Just trying to answer as best I can.

I'm hoping we do see some more Australian shows. Just irked that I was already over there this year and can't afford another plane ticket down under so soon  peace

If you have never been to Australia before I recommend you move heaven and earth to get here dude.

Sydney in December would be the ideal first time to see Australia, not to mention a highlight for your Guns memory bank.

The rumor the band wants to chill out here for a minute after only makes it more enticing, Bondi Beach on a hot Decembers day.  drool

Maybe you can head north and check out the Gold Coast, its like heaven on earth.  ok
