yesterday's show was so good that even the usual haters in the local press admitted it was a great concert. every review has the "old band/slash" or "they were one hour late" references still, but they all say it was a great show. personally, this was my 7th gn'r show since 1992, and my favorite one by far. and Axl had a 39? fever and still performed for almost 3 hours. amazing set list, the band was really tight, Axl's voice was at his best. I was really glad that Axl brought Baz too, i'm huge fan of the guy as well and he is the perfect opener for Gn'R. Great night yesterday, and it was really cool hanging with old and new friends before and after the show.

Brandon, sorry mate I wanted to catch up with you and Josh but wasn't able to make it due to feeling unwell. Would have liked to say thank you for the pre show in Lisbon in 06, which rocked.

I am however going to the last tour date, Barcelona. But I'm glad you had a great time, and yes Sebastian is a great opener. However I would love your (old) band, Kidnap to open for GN'R someday, would be cool as hell.

Glad you enjoyed the Lisbon show, nice change for you, since the show in 06 was a festival. I also noticed some Brazilian flags in the crowd, in the photos from this show. I love the Portuguesse, Spanish and Brazilian fans. So much passion and energy.

We will definitely catch up soon, and then you can maybe give me them Kidnap demos I have been trying to get for ages.

Great quality, obrigado! Nice to see the mic was improved too - when I tried to record with my 3GS it sounded like shit with all the low frequencies clipping.

Good to see the whole band kicking in (with full drums) at the ending, matching the original. Sounded fucking awesome.

True, don't cry was amazing! I have to give it up for this band, i really like to see them live better than the old band, the old band was slower, rawer and most of the time Duff's bass was higher than the other instruments. Sure they were great live, but i think this new band kicks their ass and hands it to them, honestly i really think so!
The songs are played a little bit faster then the old band, and since theres more guitar players in the band, it makes the songs more powerful!

Im totally amazed with this new band, and this just got me hungrier for a new album and im already thinkin about going to see them in the US, when the US tour stars. Im gonna be there for awhile i think, so its gonna be fun!
Hopefuly next year i'll be in California rocking with GNR haha


On a side note... i cant believe the media are still arguing about Axl going late on stage. THAT DIDNT HAPPEN! Axl was right on time at 11pm!

There's a 2 hour gap between Bach and Guns N'Roses, which is the time the guys take to set up the stage, lights, guitars etc... Hell you could see the guy fixing the guitars in the back...
Why is that so hard to understand???!! It really pisses me off...
