not down in the pit
it was nice to see axl and dj have fun onstage, the others too but i especially remember like when dj was playing kinda close to the edge of the stage and axl came from behind and shook him a little and see djs reaction thinking he'd fall then they just laughed

Axl Rose stepping in at the Sweden Rock's biggest stage as if it were his living room - phenomenal casual, carefree and charismatic as his usually serious delay. Nils Hansson have no problem understanding Guns n'Roses powerful position.

Sweden Rock Festival, Day 3
Sweden Rock Festival, Day 3
Sweden Rock Festival, Day 2
Sweden Rock Day 1
It tends to be in the program that the festival ends at two o'clock at night. Normally, they are ready much earlier than that. But when it severely delayed Guns n'Roses rounds at ten past two, it is still not nearly over. Three encores, it will be, culminating in a stilted entitled "Paradise City", and I guess that the festival has never been open just as late. Now both restaurants closed by inlet audience, in what could be perceived as a kind of desperation. But Axl Rose continued.
I wonder if he has ever started a concert on time.
But there is still something powerfully with Guns n'Roses. Perhaps the festival's biggest booking ever, and Axl Rose get on the festival's biggest stage as if it were his living room. So phenomenal casual.
His voice is as raspy as ever, but he is fully present. The festival has been in standby mode while he waited for the right vibrations, nothing suggests that he even noticed that a delay has occurred.
And now he is there, with one of rock history's most incredible voices. Thin and nervous, fully capable of bad as any rock band. With the outside extremful shirt and hairstyle. With Guns n'Roses which is about twice as big as a rock band of that type should be, but it's like Axl Rose requires that kind of backing.
Somewhere there is a bit odd that he has the position he has. He has produced so little, and it's been a long time the band had more members than the original Axl himself. Last album "Chinese Democracy" had time to become a joke in its ever-extended delay, yet it is only the third time the group has released a new album, and nobody can get me to believe that Guns n'Roses will ever spend more plates .
While it is impossible to remain unaffected by karisman. Axl Rose is a stage phenomenon, the matter is clear. As soon as you see him make it so that it has just the position he has. Magnetic, is probably the word.
Even more unlikely was Watain concert, and even more powerful. With a magnificent lit darkness, where three-pronged candlelight set the mood for the entire construction scene, in which light and ran downhill. And I feel the music even more grand than on the discs.
Earlier in the evening had made the festival of history perhaps the shortest press conference. A single question, then they broke up. So-so forty-five seconds, all in all. Some have to be impressed by that.
I would probably still claim that year's festival, spent a little wrong. The two giant bookings Aerosmith and Guns n'Roses may have been a wet dream for the festival organizers, they still received the rest of the festival program to appear as something of a slump.
Weather also recorded. By Michael Kiske Helloweens?ngaren had to wait almost an hour before he was able to Sweden Rock debut with his new band Unisonic. Since the audio mixing tower was blown over in the violent gusts.
Then, it is an open question who fulsj?ng most charming, Lee Dorrian of Cathedral and Blackie Lawless of WASP None of these bands are particularly needed outside the festival, but here are the basic bolt, legends. Two typical examples of the alternative world that is the Sweden Rock Festival. Next year they may be here again.

We saw a helicopter that landed backstage one hour before starting time. After the helicopter landed it only took 10 minutes until we saw fernando at the stage. And after the show ended , it only took 10 minutes and a helicopter lifted so it must have been Axl. Of course we cannot be 100% sure if it was him or not but who else would arrive and leave the gig in an helicopter if not Axl
Sooo cool!

I don't think so. Apparently the band arrived in a van...Axl also arrived in a van about 2+ hours later.

Maybe he took a van from the helicopter to backstage? The Helicopter didn't land exactly beside the stage...

My understanding is he did not arrive by helicopter. But it doesn't really matter how he got there...just that he got there.

Man, I just watched a bunch of the videos...you lucky bastards! Even with low quality vids you can feel the power of Axls vocals and awesome guitar work. What a show...what a tour...what a year...my pick for best word to describe this band is "tight". Here's to more great things to come.

True.
Even in a cold Swedish (summer) night.
