Slash What'd I say? Rowdy crowd for sure. But amazing! The guy who nailed me didn't take me down but he busted my poor gtr. Ah well, it was a kick ass rock show

Slash needs to hold Myles prisoner in a recording studio if need be to get him to record a VR album if thats what it takes. He is an amazing singer, and really the first guy since Axl I have seen Slash on stage with that gets me excited to hear him. Slash's playing not surprisingly seems to have responded positively to having someone like that on stage with him as the songs just sound better.

The Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti's brother Mike just posted this on the Alter Bridge forum: That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life. Myles crushing one of my favorite GNR songs. That just made my night. I am in awe. Even the people close to that band seem to be taking notice of the awesomeness that is the Slash/Myles combo right now. |

I'd like to see a better video of this, that's kind of wild... According to Metalitalia.com, an unknown person suddenly appeared onstage at former GUNS N' ROSES and VELVET REVOLVER guitarist SLASH's Milan, Italy performance on June 10th. The commotion took place during the 'Sweet Child O' Mine' solo and almost slammed Slash down. Slash hit a stage monitor with his guitar, paused the solo for a few seconds, and then started playing again until the end of the song.

Rocket Queen sounds amazing, probably the best sounding GN'R song that Myles sings.

Yeah, Fall To Pieces is another great song, would be cool to hear Myles' take on it.
Only song I reckon is complete rubbish is Mean Bone. Why is that in the set when there are so many better Snakepit songs to play?!?!?!

Nice to see wasn't too bothered by it and kept his eyes on the bigger picture that they were playing an amazing show. Italian crowds never cease to amaze me..some of the most passionate music fans in the world. Thank you Milan. Myles take on the show. Had a blast playing Rocket Queen in the set tonight. The crowd in Milan was the best we've seen on the tour yet. Brent Fitz (drummer) take on the show. It is amazing to me that someone attacked Slash on stage tonight and no one in the band (Slash included) for the most part seems to care as they all raved about the crowd for being passionate and into it. That is rock n' roll personified. |
