"I Believe In Israel"- W.AXL ROSE 13.06.06

« on: June 09, 2010, 03:02:10 PM »

Allmost on every show, the band makes the same "moves" during the songs.
for example:
Axl holds the Mic stand above his head with his both hands on "LALD"
Richard and Dj standing in front of the stage at the begining of "Nightrain" and then going back
During "Its so easy", Axl throwing his Mic stand on the same place every time.

There are many many more...

What i think is that they are filming every show and they reharseled those "moves" and everything before the Tour came just to make maybe a DVD later with Mix of some shows and everything must be tight and same on every concert during the Tour.

Btw...

I think this is as close to being choreographed as a band like Guns N' Roses gets.  Remember, for 95% of the people in attending, this is the first time any of them see these "moves."  Plus, it helps other band members to know when Axl might launch his mic stand so they can stay out of the way.

It's all part of the show and much like the music, the physical component of it is rehearsed to a certain degree.

Cheers,

Andrew

You only noticed this now?

Axl also gives somebody the finger during It's So Easy... You know, the "why don't you just...." part.

It's not weird in any way. He's always done things that gets the message across. Whether it means holding the mic stand above his head or doing gestures...

This happens to a lot of bands.

It's not coreography, like "hey, i'm doing this and you gonna do that".

It's just routine.

axl rockz my world !

« Reply #15 on: June 09, 2010, 11:27:36 PM »

this tour seems as though axl likes what he is doing.
but sometimes it seems robotic in ways but that tends to happen when tours run into each other.
but i don't really think it's much different.
ive watched hammersteins video's of all the shows.
there was some similarities but not outa odernary.
i think this tour is fine though just like other's,alot of good then bad this time.

so axl is late ,hhmm you say.

but not as much as before,i think it's more of a good thing.hence the bullshit hearing crap later.
