Well as I expected, Guns n?Roses was the best thing ever. I?m only sorry for making timetables for myself, I missed the encore as I had to hurry to the train...which I missed anyway  Grin If they ever come here again, I?m booking a hotelroom and don?t make a same mistake as yesterday  Sad

I think the crowd was great, the beerlines were GREEEAT and the wheather was great  Smiley

Oh man, what a gig beer

1st row, sunny day, great gig...what else you can ask for  peace

Well, also met BBF at meet&greet, shook hand with Beta love, saw /Jarmo (yep, it was me shouting your name when you walked pass just before the gig  Tongue), Del, George Chin etc.

Monroe was around when Guns were about to start, so maybe they just didn?t have any suitable song (or time) for him   yesterday. Monroe?s new band is very good, gonna see them again next month ok MM-band is a little one-dimensional for bigger audiences but who cares about that Roll Eyes

Guns then...oh man, now i can die as a happy man drool
Seeing them VERY close for a first time and really hearing Axl scream&sing when he is just few meters away...oh lord, that is something else smoking

This i love was soooo beautiful that i almost cryed Cry , Sorry was so fucking great that i can?t even describe.
Tommy was very drunk (i?m just guessing) rofl, but gotta love that man. A Legend.
Fortus, BBF and DJ played like angels and made MANY visits to "Axl?s spot", so a lot of fotos of them Cool
Didn?t really see a lot of Dizzy, Frank or Chris from my position, even when it was indeed 1st row (cause "Axl?s spot" was so high and just ahead of my spot), but ofcourse got finally see them after PC (final bow).

It was clear that when you are 1st row you will miss Axl?s whistle and microphone, but other than that it was a once in a lifetime experience for me, don?t think i will never again see them so close.

That?s it, my GN`R-gig, sorry about my shitty english hihi

Great show all and all. I met Bumblefoot on meet n' greet and have some pictures from the show as well. I will share some of those with you as soon as I figure out how to do it.  Smiley

It was an awesome gig! Simply brilliant..! GNR @ its finest and I was glad that they played 6 songs from CD, especially Sorry and TIL.

Axl didn't really speak at all, except to thank us which he did about 20x. He also bowed to the crowd several times after songs. In all Axl and the whole band were on a great mood and they were joking/acting playfully on the stage. A funny "joke" Axl pulled was when he changed a shirt and came back onstage with his belly pushed forward so he looked pregnant  hihi

On a side note, Skunk Anansie was an awesome warm-up and they really amazed me! Skin was running around the crowd and at one point, I was a meter next to the place, she was standing on top of the crowd! People holding her up like some cheerleader or something.

How many people were there?
The estimation is that some 17 500 people attended the festival/GNR.

What an amazing gig!!
Even the weather was perfect.  ok
I love this line-up, the band is really tight and they?re funny as hell playing on stage.

These last few days have been so awesomely unreal, standing in the front row two gigs in a row has just been mind-blowing. Without a doubt the best days of my life!!  Grin Grin

Thanks jarmo for the updates. I didn't think you were a part of this tour. I guess you got tired of the blog thing.

I didn't get tired of anything.

I decided to go see GN'R on my own free time.

They're playing in my 'hood!

Awesome day indeed!

Woke up around 8, begun enjoying some good high.

Got to meet Ron at the DLX, the rumours are true, he really is the nicest guy ever. Was cool to hear him "Holy shit" when he saw I was holding the booklet of Normal for him to sign instead of CD, also the added surprise when I whipped out the booklet of Uncool from my knapsack. At one point he gave me a copy of Abnormal but I gave it back as I already have it, which he then joked about that he can't even give these away hihi

The band was awesome, the setlist was a bit surprise but cool, just wish they'd have played longer.

After the show, hooked up with this one girl and got some.
