I caught "Starlight" and had to turn it off through the first chorus, vox sounded like a cat getting it's tail pulled...

Slash only got 40 minutes. That's like 6-7 songs. He played from 18:55-19:35.

Cool. Thanks. I watched Sucker Train Blues, Back From Cali, and Nothing To Say and they were all amazing. This band is on fire.

HOLY SHIT
seeing this performance.. blows me away!
One huge thing missing in music etc is just the little melody lead stuff Slash does. u don't hear that anymore
i always thought the guitar parts he does during the "So Far Away" sections are just some of the best lead work in music.
That is just one example of why guitar players "arent" a dime a dozen.

This band sounds amazingly tight together particularly when you consider they have only known eachother for 3 months and played maybe 10-15 shows or so.
Sobriety has really treated Slash well assuming he is still on the wagon as his playing literally sounds better than ever and he even looks like he is getting himself into shape.

Myles does an amazing job singing these songs.
I know, and its little things that I haven't heard anyone be able to do that Slash has ever played them with other than the red head. If you listen, the way he holds out the notes in "Home" twice right before the solo break down is something I haven't heard anyone else do who has played this with Slash, but it is so trademark Axl that not many other people can do it. Myles also appears to have amazing lung capacity because he gets no real breaks (other than 1 slash solo spot during non-festivals setlists) and doesn't ever leave the stage for air or anything but just keeps on trucking along. This tour has done alot for Myles in terms of increasing his visibility to the general public who may not have been aware of him, but Slash is so lucky he agreed to do it because I can't believe he would have found another singer who does justice to all the different songs in the catalog the way Myles does. Listen to this version of Slither, and then something like PC, and it shows how talented the guy is that he can do a respectable Scott Weiland and Axl Rose impersonation when you consider how diametrically opposed their voices are. Even his take on By the Sword is awesome of late. Throw in the fact his oringal stuff (Starlight and BFC) is awesome live and Slash needs to do what he can to convince him to record some more music with him once the AB III album cycle is over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2xu89DNBFo (Slither)
