First up - good luck to Axl in taking on Azoff... when he said a lot of forces tried to stop the tour from happening (at the Toronto show), he obviously wasn't kidding. Also, the responses on PollStar - for what it's worth - are 100% in favour of Axl/GN'R. Seems no one is really happy with Azoff and his power grab.

Now...

According to The Moscow Times, GUNS N' ROSES is rumored to be performing at Moscow, Russia's NEON charity event on Monday, May 24. The event, which will be a combination of fashion show, award ceremony and entertainment show, will take place in the Moskva-City complex in a building constructed by Capital Group, which is co-headed by British supermodel Naomi Campbell's boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin.

Campbell hopes to raise $1 million for the Iris Foundation and Northern Crown, two Russian charities which provide education, medicine and training for children.

The original article also says Aerosmith were scheduled to perform too, but that was later denied.

Doesn't sound like they have any idea in other words.

"Guns N? Roses will play the event organizers say will be a combination of fashion show, award ceremony and entertainment show, and a host of celebrities are expected attend. Organizers said earlier in the week that Aerosmith might also play, but they denied that on Wednesday."

So they denied Aerosmith but say GN'R will be there.

Is this another one like the South American club show? Anyone? Bueller?

Didn't Dizzy cancel some solo shows in the US on May 28/29 or something?

He said they were leaving for Europe earlier than originally planned.

Yeah, but he didn't say it, I was told that by the venue.

Well, if they are to play the 24th they'd have to leave in the next couple of days I'd think.  So we should get a pretty good idea if it's even a possibility.

It actually sounds like they do. Is it possible that even you don't know?

I think jarmo's point is that the event organizers said Aerosmith would play, but Aerosmith later denied that.  So it's conceivable the same thing could happen to GNR.  It's also completely possible they could play.

They said "Aerosmith MIGHT play" and "Guns N' Roses WILL play". There's a difference. If the organizers really said that I bet they'll play.
