GN'R related survey for a school project (help a GN'R fan with school project)

I'm posting this for a poster on this board who's doing a project at school:

Please note: This survey is not done for GN'R, their management and/or record company. It's all done by a fan for a school project as it clearly says below.

Hello!

This is a survey for my Public Relations and Marketing degree?s final project.

This is not about what GNR should do or not do?

I would be grateful if you could collaborate!

My project is based on a website where all Chinese democracy songs would be uploaded in streaming for listening and the masters recordings of each track to remix would be available to download with an easy software.

After remixing the songs the user could upload the song and get votes from friends or GNR?s fans.

Finally the most voted songs will be selected for Axl/GNR as the best ones to be included on a digital release of remix of Chinese democracy via Itunes.



The main goal of my project is to promote and exploit the new GNR album!

I see albums as a piece of art that you shouldn't "mess" with. You release it as it is, when the creator(s) are satisfied with it. I listen to it as a whole.
That's one of the reasons I don't like remix albums, bonus tracks or compilation albums.

I like what you're trying to do here, and I wish you all the best. And everybody who wants to download the masters to create their own mix: all the best of luck. But for me there's 1 chinese democracy: the one Guns N' Roses release in 2008.

That's why I wondered, because how would we get a hold of these tracks unless GN'R isn't involved in any way?

This is not GN'R, their management and/or the record company asking you what you would do, this is a fan doing a project to get his/her degree.

This also is not any kind of indication/promise/guarantee that GN'R will do any of the mentioned things in the survey.


I guess I need to stress the above extra before somebody writes a news story based on this fan made survey.
