everything so far I've heard points toward late Summer/Fall. If the same pattern continues as this years previous dates   /tours  then we'll start hearing rumors of US Dates somewhere in Middle of the Europe tour & the we'll  get confirmation from the band right before (or during tickets going on sale in the US)

but you never know from this band- they could go on a 2 year hiatus after Europe for all we know!

I don't want want to get involved in any kind of bullshit back and forth, with that said...I am so fucking glad this dude (or dude-ete) said it so I don't have to. As an American, I really resent this whole "The US doesn't derserve to see Guns as much as XYZ place." This is fucking bullshit man. I am so, so sorry that Kanye or whatver the fuck outsold CD. I bought 4 fucking copies (of CD). I love this band as much as anyone. I 'd love to see them play just as much as people in South America, Europe, whatever. I'm not say that anyone in paticular DOESN'T deserve to see them. Not at all. Personally, I'm stoked for each and every one of you that makes it to a Guns show this year, or any year. I just don't like to see someone taking time to come on this board amoungst all of us that love this band to say how bad they want to see them, only to be told that they somehow aren't worthy of the chance because teenagers in this country like Justin Bieber, Nsnc or wahtever the fuck else. So he/ she is jonesin' to see Guns. Me too. Is that so bad?

While Guns N Roses are an American band they are also a band of "the world."  I dont buy into one section of the world deserving a show and another one does not.  They are a band for the whole world to share.  With that being said, I'm not going to buy into the whole America doesn't DESERVE a show because the albums sales of "CD" werent that great.  That is fucking ridiculous.  Yes America is  GNR's harshest critics, but there are also some of the best GNR fans in the world here.  Think about all the die hards on this board alone who are from America.

IMHO I think South America deserved more just because the last time they were here was in 2001 - and only in Brazil. Africa deserves it too, by the way. But that's it, I don't think the band should avoid their own country, of course.

FOr example I live in Serbia - 10milion people country.Before two days i had a speech with gnr show promoter and they said that they excepted more than 40000 requests for gnr show...Man this is in one small country

On the other hand in Serbia in June we have Alice Cooper,Bob Dylan,and some other artists...But Gnr have special treetment there and in whole Europe.

None of us "own" GN'R - that's ridiculous and there are diehard fans all over the world. No country or continent is more deserving of a Guns N' Roses gig over any other. We should just be happy with what we're given... and, as for the gigs that we can't get to for whatever reason, be thankful that some kind soul bothers to upload songs onto YouTube or whatever.

Why the hell are people arguing over which country is more 'deserving' or is more 'diehard'? It doesn't matter. We all happen to like this really awesome band... this is a good thing! I would say that South America definitely deserved to see GN'R, I think the reasons are obvious.

All this talk about the US not deserving to see GN'R is in my view redundant. I was lucky enough to see GN'R in Vegas twice in 2006, and the crowd was full of just as much love as in Canada and Europe.

But what I would say is that Axl has said himself, there seems to be a tougher road about the past in the US, than in Europe. Whether this is why GN'R choose to branch out and do other parts of the world before the US, is anybody's guess.

But I think it's safe to say it doesn't help either way.

The only place that can argue they deserve GnR over another place would be Finland since they bought 1 million copies of CD and have a population of 5 million people.

With that said I have no doubt Axl has a huge soft spot for where he lives now.  At the same time I think Axl loves the fact he can go out in other countries and not be harassed by TMZ.  However I agree with you that no place deserves GnR over another and such an argument is retarded and for those with an IQ under 80.
