Information regarding tickets:

Sales open on Wednesday April 28th.

There are also packages - that include a two or three day hotel stay AND tix for the KISS show two days after the Guns gig. So it's a mini-vacation with two rock shows and hotel covered.

See more via link (unfortunately it hasn't been translated to English yet)

http://akkc.dk/arrangementer/musik--teater/rytmisk-koncert/guns-n-roses

The package prices are VERY good (cheap) and the three hotels listed are all 3-star standards. The Scandic hotel is 400 meters from the venue (we'l be staying there). Give me a holla if anyone needs more information or any tips.

There are also busses from most major cities in Denmark - from Copenhagen it's 500 kr. (the fast-train IC3 can be done for 3-400 kr.).

Hell yeah, I might take you on that. I will be coming from Gotheburg on the 14 with a ferry to Kristianhavn. Can you recommend on how to get to there and how to get a cheap room. Also, if GN?R are playing Berlin the day after, what is the best way to get my volcanic ass to there from Aalborg?

Thanks, I appreciate. Will be my second time in Aalborg, my sister used to live there and I visited her. Seemed like a nice city. I remember one street with a lot of bars and shops. I think it is the same street where the banditos and hell?s angels had a drive by shoot fight.

I think you mean the G?teborg-Frederikshavn ferry, yes?

From Frederikshavn to Aalborg it's about 30-40 minutes by car (and there are busses/trains).

Yup, the street you mention is most likely Jomfru Ane Gade. Kind of like a miniscule version of Bourbon Street (NO) or the Gaslight District (SD); it's very popular with the young people in Aalborg, both tourists and locals. Lots of bars, lots of cheap booze. It is what it is.

Hopefully we'll find a bar or likewise in Aalborg where fans can all meet up.

The three venues mentioned on the link (ticket service) are all good and midtown. Here's one of them:

http://www.scandichotels.dk/da/Hotels/Countries/Danmark/Aalborg/Hotels/Scandic-Aalborg/?redirected=true

PS: The Berlin gig is not confirmed. Also, the rumored date for the Aalborg gig was moved when confirmed from Sunday to this date (Monday 14th). Probably as it makes little sense for the crew, band and fans to have back to back dates (Gn'R will be coming in from Sweden Rock on the Saturday); logistics, wear and tear etc.

As for travelling; there are train connections from ?rhus (and maybe even Aalborg) direct to Berlin as far as I know. If the date is confirmed, I'll look in to some links for you.

I'm definitely coming. 3rd GN'R concert for me and the first one for the missus. I just pray that the fuckers who run the crappy ticket venue called Billetlugen have sorted out how to sell tickets on the Internet without having their site crashing all the time. They're quite infamous here in Denmark for not handling ticket sales for large concerts very well. Those concerts were for much bigger venues like Parken in Copenhagen (45,000 - 47,000 tickets), though...

I really appreciate your help on this, seriously, too kind of you.
And yes, I actually meant to say G?teborg-Frederikshavn ferry, my bad.

Again, thanks for your help on this. I will wait with the Berlin date.

I'm going to have to kill him.   hihi  Every board I go to he's there talking about the Denmark show.  I don't think I can take it any more.  They've been to Japan, Canada, all over S Am and here we sit in the states with nothing.   Cry  No, New York don't count, I don't even consider them on the same plant.  I'm starting to feel real neglected.

Cin darlin'!  hihi

You're more than welcome to come over. Lars and I have talked about sending you some hotdogs, but the problem is that if we do send them, then they'll be red by the time they get there.. and that won't be just the infamous coloring!

BTW: I attended a (great) Steve Earle show some years back and Earle said it best: "You know, I'm on a diet.. but it's hard.. you guys have the best damn hotdog stands in the world. And I've been around the world and I've seen 'em all."

My plan, Reckless Rose, is to attend the show.. with four other people!  Grin

Actually, kidding aside, I think we should find a bar to all meet up in beforehand.

count me in, traveling alone from Gothenburg on this one, as of now, no idea what happens after Aalborg.

If my memory from my trip to Aalborg few years ago does not trick me then I remember the concert hall is in Aalborg East and the Jomfru Ane street is down town. So I guess we are not going to be there before the concert?
