I've got to go with "By The Sword".  I think they made the right choice with the lead single.  The Fergie track is pretty good too, though I don't know if it has staying power,,, for me.  I Like both of the Myles Kennedy tracks too, and Kid Rock as well.  The others, eh.

"Beautiful Dangerous", and my favorite bonus track is "She Can't Drive" with Alice Cooper and Steven Adler.

I went with Iggy to show him some love. Loves me some Iggy.

Yeah, the lyrics are cheesy, but that's the way it was back early 80's style.....when it was all about gettin' high and fuckin'. Or, was it fuckin'....then gettin' high?!?

For me "Nothing to Say", "I hold On" and "Beautiful Dangerous" are the top ones.  I love the whole thing except for "Ghost", Dr. Alibi", "Were all gonna die" and "Back from Cali". I dont dislike those songs, I just happen to skip those songs the most, but the rest of it I listen to NON STOP.

Seriously the best song is crucify the dead. If you don't like it listen to it again. Also can you let me know why you don't like it? The melody and the lyrics and the guitar solo's and everything are right where they should be. The drums are sweet to.

To prefer fergie and kid rock to 3 of history's greatest rock singers is just wrong  hihi

I was gonna vote Nothing To Say, but Ghost is an almost perfect Slash rock song.

Great riffing between Slash and Izzy, great understated (and very fucking cool) vocals by Ian Astbury, and a perfectly executed Slash solo, that sounds more than just random noodling.

It sounds like a typical Ozzy song from the last decade, which I haven't been a big fan of.  Though it has grown on me a little of late.

I'm surprised "Ghost" is getting so much love.  What am I missing with that song?  It's just okay to me.  Starts off good, but then sort of goes nowhere.

+1  Im still agreeing with you on a lot Faldor!  Smiley  i voted By The Sword as the best song.  Im not mad on Crucify cos its just sort of boring.  Ozzy has never been great at ballads.  with the exception of Mama im coming home.

And Ghost, well i like it...  but its not a classic really.  decent opening track but it wouldnt exactly get a live show off to a flier.

It is a simple track musically, I'll say that much, but it has such a HUGE groove going on.
I just think more than any other track on the album, everything works so well together, riffing, vocals, solo. It all flows so well and so flawlessly.

And to appreciate it fully, listen with the balance over on Izzy's side, and then listen with it on Slash's side, it sounds just like Appetite-era GN'R guitar playing. beer
