On their third album, they do a song called "Takin a Ride" which is a very trippy song, Slash plays the sitar on it. I didnt know that.

Anyone else?

Id find a link to the song but its not on youtube

But slash direct messaged me saying "thats bs for sure"

What do you think? Is the band lieing, or is Slash embarrassed to of participated?

Guitar legend Slash from Guns N' Roses fame plays an uncredited sitar on the track "Takin' A Ride."

Why would he have not been credited? If I am reading the article correctly this would have been in 92-93 he was still in GNR. The name of a GNR member on an album of a strugling band would have been a major plus for said band.

If Slash says it is BS I would think it is.

BS. I doubt Slash even knows how to play the sitar, unless of course it's a coral.

Is that what he played on Pretty Tied Up?
