Hello, A large group of fans started a campaign to ask Axl and the band, to play Estranged during this tour ... hope you understand why  This campaign consists of the following actions: 1) To send msg's to GN'R's twitter, with the sentence: "WE WANT ESTRANGED" 2) To take to the shows, wallpapers with the following sentence: "WE WANT ESTRANGED" 3) To sign this petition http://www.petitiononline.com/GNRLIVE/petition.html (God knows why  ) It's already happening...  |

Hmm....interesting. It is my thought that Ron teased audiences with a Dont Cry snippet in 2006-7 and every now and then they tease Estranged. Seems to me that more surprises are possible.

I hope for the best as it is one of, if not the greatest GNR songs ever written. That said, I try to remember that this song was only played a handful of times during the UYI tour so the odds of it being played regularly, even once during this tour is somewhat wishful thinking.
It would be curious to have a list of songs the band rehearsed before they went on tour. I know the number 40 was thrown around by DJ. It's a shame they overlook the UYI albums (if one doesn't count the two covers) since there is so much great material on those albums.
Anyway, I'd love it if GNR incorporated Estranged into their regular setlist. It's one of the top songs I get asked about by my friends when they ask which songs are played at the concerts I've attended. My guess is that Axl might bring it back once he gets a little bored playing the same songs throughout the year. I wish you good luck but I'm inclined to believe Estranged will be played due to internal wishes and not outside pressure.

The fact that it hasn't been played at all since the old Gnr dissolved, has only made the demand to hear this song again increase
This is one song that would blow the roof off the venue if they either opened up with it or whipped it out for an encore
fingers crossed that it makes it's way back among the set-list
