the problem with reading is that most uk reviews of recent years have always said that leeds has been the better festival due to fans and facilites and other things. this doesnt sit well with our friends from the south so they feel they need to complain about everything that may or may not go wrong at there festival

it sounds like there putting in the performance of a lifetime shows what a different crowd leeds has beer

Hey don't sell the Reading crowd short, having been to both (mainly a Reading goer though) I can say that both crowds are similar in terms of zeal.  Wish I'd gone this year but personal situation made it impossible.

So excited bout October 14th! 4 years since I saw GNR and I've gotta say, however great Robin was as a guy (always remember him passing me and my mate some water at the Birmingham show, very nice chap), I prefer the lineup with DJ Ashba.  This current lineup seems tight on stage and close off.
