I'd like to see more footage of "Paradise City", that's not something you see GNR do everyday.

In case somebody tells you the crowd was bad at the GN'R gig, or if you're one of those who think GN'R playing a festival is  bad idea because it's full of people who don't like GN'R.

The Kings Of Leon headlined last year's Friday night at the Reading Festival... A band member said this about the gig "Reading? What the fuck? Zero love for the kings. I know it was cold but holy shit, y'all were frozen. I can only hope Leeds is in better form."

And they hit the stage on time.  That must be one tough crowd.

Is a megaphone something you generally have backstage, or did they anticipate this may happen. Smiley

I dont know about a band having one backstage but the organisers would would certainly have them in case they need to communicate to crowds in event of power cuts etc

F#$king promoters and city officials. I hate this shit. Good for GNR sounds like at least they made their point!

It's in the middle of a town, the curfew is their out of respect for the local people who are there all year round.

I doubt some of the older folk in the area want to hear blaring music past midnight.

I honestly find it amazing that people bitch about curfews for outdoor shows in populated area. considering the band were there a good 2 hours before they were due to start there is no reason for being an hour late on stage.

it's taking the piss showing no respect to anyone and the organiser did the right thing, to protect his job.

There should be a disclaimer, where one states their point of view, regardless of reality.
