I found this link posted elsewhere of Slash's Facebook page in France that has a 12 minute long behind scenes video much like the one posted earlier.

Some Pretty cool stuff in there, including parts of songs we haven't heard yet.

Not only was this recorded on Analog, but they even used 80's era vintage tape machine to really nail down the classic sound which I thought was neat.

There is also a pretty fucking kick ass solo from 9:33-10:33 in the video.

This has made me even more excited for this album, as Slash seemed to have really brought the goods to the table for the first time in a while.

That instrumental with Duff/Grohl sounds freakin awesome as well, and the guitars on Ghost sound great as well.

Ill listen in more detail later!

Thanks to supercool at MYGNR for posting the clip, it's a cool video.  He also included an interview if someone can translate:

It is a shame Slash and Izzy aren't making music together on a regular basis because Slash is totally right about that sound they have that is unique to them, I love the opening of Ghost because you can hear the way their guitars play off each other and it is awesome.

Also love Watch This. Don't know if it is because of the presence of Grohl or not, but Slash/Duff didn't get a sound anywhere near that heavy in VR. The solo in the video is the one from that song I realized later on, and even though it has no lyrics it musically sounds awesome.

The riff in the right channel on Ghost sounds similar to the SCOM intro in the way it progresses, IMO. The "Rock N' Roll" vocal part is just badass. I can't wait to hear more of this song.

Is anyone else super impressed also with the production value of the songs? I don't know if it was entirely because of the way they recorded them, but they sound fantastic from what we have heard of the songs. There doesn't seem to be alot of busyness in the songs, and Slash's guitar seems like it will be heard crystal clear throughout the album. When you listen to these vs. the stuff VR was putting out at least to me sonically these sound so much better. I can't wait to get a studio copy in hand and play it on some good speakers.

I think Slash prefers the bare bones approach.  Even his guitar playing is the bare bones, he never uses pedal boards or anything like that.

It's hard to tell from videos, but it definitely is much better than the VR records. I felt that his guitar sound was completely drowned out in Libertad especially on tracks like "Just Sixteen" and "Let It Roll". The guitars sound more crisp and clear on this record.

Yes, but I'm impatient and no way I would be able to wait the 2 extra weeks, knowing that it was available somewhere. Besides this looks to be the only way to get all the bonus tracks, at least until they put out the 19 track special edition. Of course, I'll buy that as well.

Of course!  Smiley
Im surprised the Alice, Flea and Steven song is not on there - With them musicians, i imagine its a cool song.

I think this album kinda proves Slash's point about not being able to go "Heavier" in VR.
