Also a truck w/part of The Sebastian Bach Band's gear has rolled on the trip from Sao Paulo to Rio what is our understanding several times and we are awaiting details on the safety of the driver at this time. I really hope that no-one was seriously injured Sad , that includes the truck driver whose rig flipped.

I'm glad to hear all injuries are minor.I saw a guy all the way up last night fixing something near the roof of the stage and it looked terrifying.It is very,very high.These guys work really hard to put all that monstrous setting in place for our fun and joy and are rarely given ( by us) all the credits they deserv

OMG, this is disasterous!  Hope no one was injured.  Sorry to the fans that were suppose to go to the show.  Cry

Praying for the workers who were there at the moment. As Nightrain said, they make it happen!!

But don't worry about the show, it can be rescheduled. I believe the band will make everything possible for the fans in Rio.

 Del James  - The stage in Rio collapsed due to a massive thunder storm. Doors to the stadium had not yet opened to the public so no fans were inside when the stage collapsed. The band was not at the venue when this occurred The earliest reports lead us to to believe that there may have been casualties and serious injuries. Th...ankfully that was not the case. Everyone in the GNR crew are shaken up but doing fine. We will keep everyone posted as more information comes in but the most important thing is that everyone, GNR as well as local crew and stage hands, are alive and well.

Just came from Apoteose... i feel incredibly sad...

i was waiting for the show since 5 PM. Bought a coat for the rain, got completely wet and freezed (yeah, it turned really cool when the heavy rain felt down, and there was a very intense wind also.

Now, all i need, all i want, all i pray, is the band reschedules the show for tomorrow. Otherwise im fucked up, so do all the money i put to do this trip.
