I?m from Argentina ... I think that the main idea of what Axl saids was that he didn?t go to the secret show cause he had problems with his voice .. so he preffered to be OK for this show ... He said he takes care about true fans ... not for only 140 people ...

Axelito Riverstone pretty much summed it up.  He said that he met some guy at one of the acoustic NY gigs and he asked him if they'd play an acoustic gig in Brazil.  Axl said no, but the guy went ahead and booked it anyway.  So he planned on doing the gig, but after their last show his throat wasn't feeling so good.  He then apologized if he wasn't hitting all his high notes (tonight).  So he said he was faced with the decision of playing the acoustic show for a couple hundred people and face potential further harm to his throat which could prevent tonights show, or let his throat heal.  Obviously, he chose the latter.

Axl told a pretty funny story after Shackler's.  He said there's a common phrase used around his house, "Fuck You, Axl Rose".  So he had the crowd join him in a chant.  He would say "Fuck you" and the crowd would respond "Axl Rose".  He chuckled afterwards.  Sounds like he's having a grand old time.
