Hello everybody,
I'm posting here 'cause i would like to know what you guys really think about fans making amateur live stream with GN'R shows.
Well, i'm gonna tell you a story...
Some time ago I was thinking how boring it could be seeing all the shows updates at internet forums. You know? Watchin' the screen ... doing refresh ... waiting for another song to complete the setlist ... it could be interesting but it would be also boring after a couple of shows.
That's when I realized I could do something to change that. The technology of today can help us do better. I just thought I could use my skype to call to someones cellphone, someone who was watching the show, and then relay the sound / image to the Internet. Certainly it would not be HD but it would be much better than the traditional updates.
In December, before the tour started, I got the technical conditions to do this ... i just needed someone who go to the shows and be willing to provide his cellphone number.
I really worked hard to find someone to help me. I spread this idea for several forums and dozens of PM's:

It was hard to find someone ....
In Taipei some guy was available to do this but he was out of the stadium and we could not hear a fck
Since then ... i tried Seoul, Osaka, Tokio, Brasilia .... but no one ... some thought I was crazy ... others thought that it was not possible ... others simply did not want to share their cellphone number to a stranger ... others said they had the mobile busy to make updates by sms, as dozens of other fans did ... others, more moralistic, said they would not do anything against the wishes of the band, but ended up filming the entire concert (isn't that true RaspAxl?) to post it at youtube as dozens of other fans did ...
nobody seemed to see how a fanmade live stream could change the way we follow the updates.
I confess I was disappointed with the lack of solidarity from some fans. I've always been apologist of free sharing ... no codes to access the information ... no rivalries between forums .... i always been an apologist for a gunner community united around the same purpose .... which is somewhat unrealistic, because if the community is broken among old gnr fans ans new gnr fans.
For the effort I have been doing, I congratulate the fans who finally managed to deliver the live stream in Belo Horizonte ... I think it was just a little test for the real live stream that will happen in the next show in Sao Paulo.
I do not know if this was inspired by some of my posts on the Internet and I don't know if something like this has been done before, but it is still exciting to think that GN'R fans can be pioneering in these seas.
God Bless GN'R
God Bless GN'R's fans
God Bless Brazilian brothers for making this happen.
