Setlist: Chinese Democracy, Welcome To The Jungle, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Sorry, Richard Fortus Guitar Solo (James Bond Theme), Live And Let Die, If The World, Rocket Queen, Dizzy Reed Piano Solo/Street Of Dreams, You Could Be Mine, DJ Ashba Guitar Solo/Sweet Child O' Mine,  Jam (Another Brick In The Wall: Part 2)/Axl Piano Solo (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road/Someone Saved My Life Tonight)/November Rain, Bumblefoot Guitar Solo (Pink Panther), Nightrain

Encore: Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Paradise City

During Sorry, Axl wears a local football club's flag. Huge cheers for that.

Beta is wished a happy birthday during Knockin' n Heaven's Door. Axl also talks about getting to the hotel at 4am, the bar being open, the band being there, girls being present and how there was a pool in his room. In other words, he was fucked.

I think the crowd was the loudest crowd I've heard. Amazing!

I was there. Great show. Short setlist, but what the hell? I think 98% of the crowd was just amazed about the show.

I'll try to post a bigger review on saturday, cause my notebook has broken and i don't have internet here (i'm still in BH)

^I'm glad you liked. Seems like you had the best time. Cheesy

no better? first time since 2002 isn't it
I think they didn't play Better at one of the gigs in the 2006 UK tour.

So maybe VoodooChild is right. The journalist left before the end of the show thinking GNR is the kind of band to always play the same setlist.  Tongue

Lots of journalists think that (and actually many bands usually play the same setlist), so that could be the explanation! Wink
As a journalist myself, I would never do that. Not only about the setlist, but also the lies in the article itself (with specific mentions of Madagascar and Patience).
They corrected the article with the actual setlist, but there's still mentions about the songs they didn't play:

When I first saw the videos from the show, I thought this was the same jacket Axl wore often at the start of shows in 2006 as well. But upon closer inspection we can clearly see it has a different pattern, with a slightly different texture also.

Very nice jacket though, Axl's got a wicked style.  ok

You mean that one?

Really great one I think!

Thanks for the pics! They're really cool!

Ok Ulises.

There was a time, at the end of Knocking, where 4tus just made a face like "what the hell? you're insane", with the hands on the head, just like he wasn't believing in what he was seeing

Maybe not... i just don't get why the setlist was too short. Not complaining, i just loved the show but i was really expecting hearing better.

Anyway, as i said before, 98% of the crowd was really impressed with the band

Yes thanks Will, that is the one I was talking about.

I love that jacket, he was wearing it the first time I saw GN'R live in Portugal, Lisbon 2006. He reminded me of a Christ like figure the way he was dressed in that gold coloured jacket.

Well to me he is a Christ like figure, so I guess it fits my perception of my idol.  love

I was very surprised with that! Street of dreams had the best crowd reception, IMO. The crowd really sang ChiDem, too.
