What's really upsetting is having translated an article full of bullshit this morning ... a good waste of time. Next time I'll know better.  Lips Sealed

Maybe the setlist was wrong, but the rest of the article was ok? Wink

And thanks all for the pics and updates!

Maybe Jarmo/someone can confirm that the setlist on the first page is wrong. In this article : http://musica.terra.com.br/interna/0,,OI4313512-EI1267,00.html the setlist is :

3. It's So Easy
4. Mr Brownstone
5. Sorry
6. Better
7. James Bond Theme - Solo do guitarrista Richard Fortus
8. Live and Let Die
9. If the World
10. Rocket Queen
11. Ziggy Stardust - Solo do tecladista Dizzy Reed
12. Street of Dreams
13. Scraped
14. Solo de guitarra do DJ Ashba
15. Sweet Child O Mine
16. You Could Be Mine
17. Another Brick in the Wall

20. Knockin' On Heavens Door

They guy who wrote his article was really inspired, he even imagine the band playing Patience and the reactions of the crowd:

"O assobio conhecido de Patience, balada que foi at? trilha de novela e que embalou muitos namoros na d?cada passada, tamb?m arrancou suspiros de nostalgia em muitos casais e mesmo solteiros no gin?sio."

Something like:

"The well know whistle of Patience, a ballad that was even soundtrack of "soap-operas" and relationships on the last decade also drew nostalgic sigh from couples and singles in the gym"

It seems to me the journalist wrote her article after the Brasilia show...she did mention Belo Horizonte though.

I know it's been a long time I left my home country but the journalist is indeed talking about the Belo Horizonte show ... He talks about BH audience "Com explos?es e antigos hits, Guns N' Roses agita f?s em BH" and about the BH venue "o Guns N' Roses colocou para pular os mais de 15 mil f?s que lotaram o gin?sio Mineirinho". And the Cruzeiro is a football team from BH.
So maybe VoodooChild is right. The journalist left before the end of the show thinking GNR is the kind of band to always play the same setlist.  Tongue

Lots of journalists think that (and actually many bands usually play the same setlist), so that could be the explanation! Wink

Yes, I believe that's right- like i said bfore, there had to be a reason for the short set. They we're playing more songs from CD on 06'-07' tour & this is the official "Chinese Democracy World Tour."

I think they didn't play Better at one of the gigs in the 2006 UK tour.

So maybe VoodooChild is right. The journalist left before the end of the show thinking GNR is the kind of band to always play the same setlist.  Tongue

Lots of journalists think that (and actually many bands usually play the same setlist), so that could be the explanation! Wink
As a journalist myself, I would never do that. Not only about the setlist, but also the lies in the article itself (with specific mentions of Madagascar and Patience).

When I first saw the videos from the show, I thought this was the same jacket Axl wore often at the start of shows in 2006 as well. But upon closer inspection we can clearly see it has a different pattern, with a slightly different texture also.

Very nice jacket though, Axl's got a wicked style.  ok

Thanks for the updates, Snascarella. PerfectCrimeGNR is doing a great job, thank you ver much for this!
Some fans in GNR Community in orkut will try to livestream the SP concert with a N95 Cellphone, how will you do the live-stream?

Small setlist... I hope they're holding everything for the SP concert, the biggest one.  hihi
