Great!. Just two question..

How many shows GNR did in the past? and How many shows  Metallica and AC/DC did in Argentina recently?

Congratulations Argentineans!

you know the answer for all those questions, assclown.

GN'R put the River Plate Stadium on its knees in a week. Do you remember what you used to say some years ago about this?

Go troll elsewhere. You lost.

Cool, cool, cool!

Unfortunately I can't be there...but with numbers like this maybe Guns could repeat this at Wembley Stadium in the UK in the Summer. I was lucky enough to see them years back when Skid Row and NIN supported, would be great if there could be a repeat with the new band and new stadium  smoking

They haven't been in Argentinia since '93. They did a complete UK tour in 2006.

It's not going to sell as well as this Wink

I think if some of you guys have some money saved, you should come to at least one show in SA. Dollar and Euros are convinient here and you'll have a first class and crazy show.

Speaking about Argentina, people creates "little earthquakes" in River stadium when they jump so...do the math.. hihi

I think you're right unless...

great pr from SA and Cental Europe
very limited UK tour (1-2 shows max) - bring the GNR fans to Wembley
a few good supporting bands to draw a crowd
possibly a video

Then I think they'd stand a good chance

Emirates stadium holds 60,000 in London, maybe that's a possibility.  And yeah a big supporting band would help.

After 17 years they can barely do 1 sold out(says ticketeck, who btw, always release tickets a few days before the show).
If you compare the shows of Metallica and ac/cd ,some parts of the stadium have not been enable for  Axl`s show.
BIG COMEBACK!!!!!!!!! ok

This is brilliant news, it shows the band still have a strong following in this region. But to be honest I was expecting this to happen in South America, they are amazing fans and very passionate.

If any continent was going to take the lead at selling out shows, it was always going to be South America.

I love that GN'R are going back to Brazil as well, as this is where I believe the new band was truly born.  Cheesy

well... reality (a concept Bumblefoot explained flawlessly in his last interview...some people dont want to know reality, they just want to be entertained) is Guns N' Roses sold out the River Plate Stadium in around 8/9 days, there has past 3 days without ticket sales, and there is a complete month till the day of the show. So, if GNR had the chance of booking another show in Buenos Aires, it could sell well too. Problem i guess is GNR is not going to play three shows in three days in three different countries. That's just inhuman.

And lets consider GNR has booked a show in Uruguay, a country that is 1 hour away from the River Plate Stadium, and they're doing another STADIUM show there (which has sold more than 20,000 tickets so far, according to some sources). What was the cost of my ferry ticket to travel to Uruguay? u$s 40. There are going to be a lot Argentine fans at Montevideo, and AC/DC and Metallica didnt book a show there. AC/DC didnt even perform in Chile! So, conclussion is GNR is offering a wide spectrum of possibilities in southamerica, giving the chance to every southamerican to attend one or two shows (if i can solve some little problems i'm currently having, I will attend 4 shows in 3 different countries, and trust me: it is possible, im not a rich guy). GNR has given a lot of possibilities Metallica and AC/DC hadnt.
