It's better a few years late, than never.
Lineage - Custom Mics -->Battery Box with 160hz roll off filter-->Sony MD-->SoundForge-->CD-->FLAC8_TLH-->you
I can't remember what MD recorder I used this night, but the roll off and mics were my standard kit at that time.
Recorded from the soundboard barrier, dead center.
It seems that everytime I see GnR, their sound is worse than the previous.
This is my 4th time seeing them in Halifax (first since 1988? or 89 when they opened for the Cult?)
Sound is a bit tinny..but this is a solid B+/A- in my books.
I can't find my notes to indicate if I did any EQ'ing or editing on this..
Opening acts were:
1. Die Mannequin
2. The Trews
3. The Suicide Girls
I think i had previously posted the 2 opening acts on DaD.
I had made some artwork and gave copies to a few friends of this show, but do not believe that i previously posted this.
The title that I used was "Welcome To the Trailer Park, Bitches" after the Trailer Park Boys.
I have since had a HDD crash and lost my artwork files..@#$%^&
As always, please do not convert to lossy mp3 unless its for personal use.
Please do not sell etc etc.
Trade the music...not the money, bitches.
Lastly, I am always looking for new shows by Sum41, Danko Jones and April Wine..all great Canadian acts.
