A) There to be at least one US surprise gig
B) It to be anywhere within driving distance of Detroit
C) There to be at least enough notice for me to arrange travel and get tickets.


I know these are all HUGE hopes, but nevertheless... here's hoping.

I would love if a suprise gig was ...Saturday Night Live. If they would do 2-3 songs and do the show with a weeks annoucement. I'd love to see a small skit that starts with people wondering ...."Is he really...gonna show ? Imagine the riot if he doesn't !"

I got a call the last time he was here, but it was on a worknight, so I couldn't get up in the middle of the night and witness it. Actually, that's probably for the best.  I'm sure the board went nuts and crashed a few times

I can't wait to hear more about the surprise gigs!!  I would love to go, but the financial difficulties persist

Oh yeah, surprise gigs are cool. I hope it's like the one that got broadcasted over the Web a few years back (so everyone can see it) - that was in Calif, right?

It appears it was directed at Madison who was a moderator at mygnrforum until earlier today. It was a response to Madison's criticism over what Axl should/shouldn't have done about the whole Slash t-shirt banning saga.

Yeah, I hear that. I actually have the next 2 days off work and could drive to NYC tonight if I wanted too. I just don't have the cash flow to take a gamble on there being a gig for sure.

We're having snow issues in Detroit too but if I were sure there was a gig and I could get in, I'd be heading to NYC in about an hour.
