Yeah, it's probably this festival's debut.  I'll change that part.  He said the tour would begin around the time of the album release (April 6th).

Promising ?the biggest weekend of rock? for a low ticket price, Rock On The Range lines up more than 38 bands and artists for two days of sonic thrills in May.

Rock On The Range returns to Columbus, Ohio, and the Crew Stadium May 22 and 23. Hosted by your ?Mistress of Ceremonies? ? Mistress Juliya of Fuse TV ? this year?s blow-out features performances by Godsmack, Slash, Rob Zombie, Three Days Grace, Rise Against, Seether, Deftones, Papa Roach, Theory Of A Deadman, Mastodon and Five Finger Death Punch.

Two-day passes start at $99.50 and a special pre-sale begins Feb. 16 while the general onsale cranks up Feb. 20. For the first time in the festival?s history, Rock On The Range will include a ticket layaway plan. For more information, click here for the Rock On The Range Web site.

We would like to make it clear, in case there is some confusion with all the different projects we have going on, that Myles will not begin the Slash Tour until we are finished recording Alter Bridge III. Myles will then return from the Slash Tour before October, when we plan to go out on tour again, starting in Europe and the UK.

In the meanwhile, we are trying to make the best album we can so we better get back to it. We'll let you know when recording officially begins and any other new news that may pop up so check back.

Its almost as if they keep commenting on his tour with Slash to convince themselves he "is" coming back.....

I don't think the last Alter Bridge album did really well-the Creed tour I guess didn't do that well according to Rolling Stone-Alter Bridge is just trying to keep people interested who might think he is leaving-I would imagine in the US at least a Slash solo tour might draw close to or better than an Alter Bridge tour

Slash's Tour has the potential to draw as much as a the current GNR tour.... Especially if some of these songs get a lot of air play.

Whatever your smoking or snorting you need to stop now, its melting your brain. Slash is not even going to draw close tot he numbers Guns is doing now, hell VR and AIC were not even drawing those kind of numbers on the last tour.

Slash will be lucky to draw 2500 a night in most cities, back away from the crack pipe.
