Im sure we will be in the bar on Friday and Saturday before the gig and possibly after.

I'm defo gunna do the meet n greet with Ron, that will be awesome! Gunna try and get a cool shirt sorted out for the gig for signing and take my Chinese democracy lp!

Is there any indication of timings and who's appearing when etc on the day of the show? the festival site is not very informative it has to be said. I understand GNR are on at 9pm but what are the timings before that etc.. Anyone any idea?

I've been wondering the same thing, but haven't really found any answers. So I'm going to ask someone who works at the festival and let you guys know if they tell me anything worth telling.

This is only the third festival I'm attending yet second organizer of those shows that's going bankrupt. 

As long as the festival is still on I don't care. I just want to see see the band play and shut up and sing..

It says in this news article, that  the events booked by Speed Promotions for the summer 2010 have already had their financing organized and thus are in no danger of being canceled.

Michael Monroe had some pretty harsh comments about GNR in 2002 when he opened for them (I think that was in Japan). I'm sure he'll change his mind once he watch the current lineup. If not, well, fuck him!

I don't think Mike has or has had any problems with GN'R, he said the band looked a little lost on stage compared to the old line-up. And Hanoi Rocks never opened for GN'R. Didn't the whole thing begin when the organizers moved Hanoi to another stage at the Summer Sonic Festival? It was something about Axl being scared that the crowd would react more to Hanoi than to GN'R.

And if you didn't know, he said many good things about Axl, the new songs and GN'R in 2006 and was sad that he couldn't see them in Helsinki as Hanoi Rocks was on tour in central Europe at the same time. I don't think there's any bad blood between Axl and Mike.
