Okey, the beginning time for G n?R is about 9 pm and the whole thing is supposed to be over at 11 pm  So looks like we Finns will get max 2 hour show? I have to say I?m a little bit dissapointed right now  I hope they?ll get some great band to cover up The Prodigy...like Faith No More

Not sure if Axl will pay any attention to the 11pm ending time...

Haha, Yes don't take the listed ending time as set in stone especially when GN'R are performing. To be fair, I feel that 11pm is way too early anyway to end, for any show. I would have thought that 12.00/1.00am is much more realistic.

Well yeah, but in Finland there are these...how would you say...rules/laws about playing music/conserts in the city area and I don?t know how easy it is to break them. All city festivals (Tuska/Sauna Open Air) usually ends at 10 pm. Well, but let?s hope for the best

any news as to why prodigy are not doing the gig and if anyone will replace them? bit gutted about them tbh. good news on the volcano chilling out lol! hoping for no disruption 7 weeks from now!

Festival organizer said that Prodigy don't want to play in a daylight and obviously in Finland 8pm-9pm sun is still shining. No light show etc etc. This might be bs, but it was the official statement the promoter gave us.

i don`t think so...   as of last year, they still played during the daylight.... i doubt that changed.

I heard it's because of a logistic problem or something.. I don't know, but it would have been great to see them live!

Latest news is that Finnish air transportation are back to normal

getting wound up for Finland now, a month to go! We need a venue for a pre show meet up! either on the day or night before.

Would any local Helsinki board members be good enough to suggest a suitable venue?

Any news on a Prodigy replacement? TBH i would rather GNR  were given extra time. 8:30 instead of 9pm start time.

I think we should really decide something soon.. in my opinion the best way to get to the venue is by train (takes about 5min + little walking), not via Kallio. So how about meeting somewhere close to the city center? As I understand most of the GN'R-fans coming from other cities/countries are staying in hotels that are located there anyway.

On The Rocks is right next to the railway station and they got a nice terrace too (if it's a sunny day, it will be 150% full of people though).. but I don't know, I'll go with what you guys want to do But I know Helsinki very well and I've lived there for years so I'm just trying to get this thing going. Would be nice to see you guys
