I just hope they'll do their own shows instead of festivals.

There's also a rumor about a French concert in June, but it's really just a rumor right now. I'm not sure we'll have a European tour, we'll see.

There's a rumor... there's a rumor.  Roll Eyes

All those rumors does not help European fans. We need no rumors, we can only be happy if something is confirmed.

Fans in Europe should be happy about every concert. It doesn't matter a festival or an own tour.

I'm also not sure we will have Shows in Europe this year.

Well, it means people are working on things.

Previous tours have always started with rumors.. When there's smoke, there's probably fire.

Really?

I think Guns N' Roses will rock Europe in summer.

So far there has been no indication that a European section is in the current schedule, there have been several unreliable rumours but nothing that is really concrete. Let's face we've seen these articles time and time again, so let's wait to see what the contents of the next band annoucement is, which I can't see happening until during the South American dates.

You're right, it does seem logical (and maybe - probably? - they will come to Europe). I'm just saying I'm not sure, because we haven't seen anything concrete so far about Europe (meaning ticket sales), and I'm also a bit surprised they're not playing in the US.

Well, Frank said probably late summer in the US.

Well...the US thing is kinda weird. I think Guns N' Roses maybe is punishing the US because, ok, there's a lot of fans of the US here but we have to admit that the heaviest critisism comes from there too...

I really don't think that's it. America has more indoor venues and Europe more outdoor festivals.
Most bands do Europe in the summer and after that America. Just like guns in 2006.

Besides the band really isn't going to "punish" the fans because other people don't like the album/tour/whatever. It's stupid to even think so.

I think it's definitely Europe dates for summer!
Also here in Serbia, we got some news about GNR concert in September.

Hope the dream comes true!  ok

But this is not just a rumour, the guy who's talking with GN'R and planning this show is the biggest promoter in Finland. And if he's even trying to get the band here, I'm happy. It means something that they've "been making plans with the band"..

And I think anyone who's saying there won't be a European tour this summer is out of his mind..

You're right. But up to there is too much rumor and nothing confirmed yet.

What about the rumor with the Show on a horseracetrack in norway?

We haven't heard anything about it anymore.
I think this fire is gone.

I hope I'm wrong, but in doesn't seem so.

The rumor came from the venue itself, the promoter wouldn't confirm or deny it. They only said they were  in contact with different managements.

I can only assume Guns N' Roses is one of the considered. The media has really only focused on the possibility of it being either Guns N' Roses or Aerosmith. Since Aerosmith is sort of up in the air right now - singer-wise, Guns N' Roses is the best bet for the "biggest act" on their list.

There will be big-name shows on these venues this year, but nothing has been announced yet.

I just said I'm not sure, but I also said it would be logical that they'd come here. Right now I'm happy for Canadian and South American fans, as I was glad for Asian fans in December. For Europe, we will see in a few months I guess. It'd be great to see them again, of course. Smiley

Yeah, I wasn't talking about you specifically Smiley But is there any reason why GN'R would skip Europe..? I think there's a big market for them here, 2006 was pretty amazing and they sold out many shows.

But as someone said earlier, I'd prefer a real GN'R-show instead of a festival one too.
