Because I hardly ever post here I thought i best insert my 2 cents worth. I've read so many opinions in here about old guys vs new guys and all that crap. Lot of people saying how they're sick of hearing about the old guys and the new guys are sop much better etc etc.
I say....yes the new guys are fucking awesome, no doubting it, we all know Axl chose them with good reason. But let's face it, there is a large and very destinctive difference between creating a piece of art and copying someone elses piece of art.
Having said that, I fucking love this new band,not that they are new anymore...... but I feel there is an edge, or something that is very hard to put your finger on, that they lack that the old GNR had. Of course, this new version is what is is and I'm pretty sure they dont give a fuck about people comparing them to the old guys, just interesting conversation I guess. I think the old band stood for a kind of wreakless, fuck the world, die at any moment or live forever attitude that was delectable and really sexy in a non gay way. Maybe the new band stand for something else?
I guess the question is, what makes a better musician? Such is art that that question can never be answered absolutely because we all like different shit. Hence the millions of posts in here and other places like it about who's better. Maybe we can just agree that we love this fucking thing called Guns N Roses and turn that shit up and all get along?

the headbanging smiley! Last show? That went so fast. So glad to see GNR in the pics and videos people snuck out 4 us. Thanx. I was surprised by how long some of the shows lasted this time. Hope tonight tops it! If that is possible. Another thing, I wasn't sure if this would just seem like Axl & band when they started. I am so amazed at how close they seem & how they just kinda clicked. So happy 4 them. Here's to many more shows.
