NEW PROJECT GLOBAL SOUND LODGE FOR HAITI

Long time musical partner Lanny Cordola and myself have formed Global Sound Lodge
A new musical consciousness. Our first song entitled ?Hands Together ? was written for the Hatian people
in this time of tragedy in their homeland. We hope to build a group of international musicians with varied
humanitarian efforts based on situations around the world that need our attention. John Coltrane believed
music can heal the world in his song? Love Supreme?. John Lennon had this vision as well. GSL have songs ready to record
for Aung San Suu Kyi, Neda who was shot during the Iranian elections.

After many years traveling the world playing music and meeting so many people.I believe it is in us all to come together
with love and music to help one another.

MATT SORUM Launches GLOBAL SOUND LODGE - Feb. 2, 2010

Drummer Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES, THE CULT) has issued the following update:

"Longtime musical partner [American guitarist, songwriter and producer] Lanny Cordola [GIUFFRIA, HOUSE OF LORDS, MAGDALLAN] and myself have formed GLOBAL SOUND LODGE, a new musical consciousness. Our first song, entitled 'Hands Together' [hear audio below], was written for the Hatian people in this time of tragedy in their homeland.

Global Sound Lodge plan to tour summer 2010 with a tribe of peacemaking musical provocateurs whos aim is to create music with a social-spiritual and moral conscience to give melodies to those in the grips of poverty and social upheaval. GSL will use their experience to bring this Global Vision Worldwide with a series of song cycles and multi media live performances.

GLOBAL SOUND LODGE TO PLAY WITH DONOVAN

Had the pleasure of working with legendary folk singer Donovan in my studio
on Saturday. March 19th Global Sound Lodge which is myself and longtime music partner Lanny Cordola
will Join Donovan on stage at The EL Rey Theater and we will join him on his classic Atlantis.
It is all to benefit the David Lynch foundation.

JOIN MY NEW HUMANITARIAN MUSIC PROJECT GLOBAL SOUND LODGE .ORG

This is my new site. It is a humanitarian music project. Our goal is to have this around the world creating a new musical consciousness network ala The Global Sound Lodge. I travel to Haiti June 18th to bring guitars to a refugee camp there along with Partner Lanny Cordola and friend Aaron Cohen who rescues children of Sex Slavery. It will be covered by CNN.

This Thursday at Myhouse in Hollywood. Global Sound Lodge will perform Hands Together. CNN is following friend Aaron Cohen and Global Sound Lodge?s Lanny Cordola and myself. We will play this benefit gig for Abolishslavery.org and then head down to Haiti June 18th to bring guitars to kids that have been rescued from Sex Slavery by Aaron Cohen and his team. Ovation guitars have so generously given GSL 10 Guitars for the trip. Dunlop has donated Picks Music brings such joy to people hopefully this will help put some smiles back on these childrens faces. GSLs mission is just that. Peace and Harmony through music.

GLOBAL SOUND LODGE, the "new musical consciousness" formed by VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum and American guitarist, songwriter and producer Lanny Cordola (GIUFFRIA, HOUSE OF LORDS, MAGDALLAN), will perform its first track ?
