To get my 2 cents in on something that happened at the show. Throwing stuff at the band has to be the lamest thing anybody can possibly do. I wouldnt have blamed Tommy for walking off stage. He sucked it up and continued playing which is admirable. I play in a band and I consider myself lucky enough to be able to make a decent living doing this. That being said Ive had anything you can imagine thrown at myself and my bandmates ( cups of beer, soda, bottles of booze, bags of piss, batteries, and my favorite marbles). I mean really I can almost excuse the ones who get drunk and do it. But then there are the few who go to shows intent on doing this. They must get off on this. the ones who bring batteries or marbles. We are there to play a show. Unfortunately we are exposed and open to such things. Really do people find themselves that important that they feel they are entitled to ruin a show for everyone there who paid to see it?

Some of it has to do with the fact that they don't know where to look.

A lot of things are going on at once. Not only is there a band on stage, you also got the video, pyro, all the moving lights etc.

Think about it though.Any fan going to this concert wearing a Slash tee would be out to get it noticed for all the wrong reasons.Maybe the request didn't come from Axl himself-it could have come from crew/management who had maybe had dickheads wearing them to other shows just to cause trouble.

This very post may just lead to a permaban for me over there, but it sounds like the author of that thread is-how do people say it nowadays?- "butthurt" that a few things maybe didn't go their way.  Not cool a thing to do for a supposed favorite band of someone's.

edit: to be clear, by "not a cool thing to do," i'm talking about starting a thread with supposed "confirmation" from an unnamed source.

I just read the same thing...I wonder if it's accurate.

We did not advise any security to ban any sort of apparel....  If they did, they did it on their own accord, or under someone else's order - from within their management. 

Can we squash it now?  Or should we discuss it for like 10days, then discuss about why we discussed it for 10 days, for another 2weeks... then, reignite the conversation on how Axl himself was at the venue doors, telling everyone that Slash linkings and/or apparel is not allowed.
