Wrong. All that matters is the money. If they can put a picture of an overweight hillbilly trucker looking axl rose on the front of the cover and talk shit about touring behind an album 2 years after its release, they'll sell more issues of whatever trash they print. And that's what they'll do if that's what sells. Praising people's good points don't sell. If they talked about how despite axl's looks, he still sounds pretty good, very few people will buy the issue. However, if they talk about how he looks and how he's still punching people in the face, that gets more people's attention.
bottom line is the dollar, not how much fun axl rose is having on the tour.
And the people that get pissed and bombard their message boards when they print this stuff are feeding into exactly what they want. Just ignore it. Not to mention the fact that such a thing hasn't happened with this current tour yet anyways.
