Matt Sorum has issued the following update:

"A lot has been happening in my life even though things seem quiet with VELVET REVOLVER we are still at it. SLASH is doing the solo album so that has given me time to focus on DARLING STILETTOS as well as starting on a new side project. Playing a lot live with them in Hollywood and heading to Vegas the 18th and 19th of December at The Palms. Playing The Lounge after the Lady Gaga show. Come out if you're around. It's free and we'll rock your shit man."

Does anyone know what it is?

I assume you're referring to the Tommy Lee thing.  Could be, I thought that was a one time deal -- but it looks like that's still not clear.

According to Lee, Bezerk, as the group is known, is an ?exclusive project commissioned by? Guitar Center and as of now their only scheduled appearance is at the Guitar Center Drum-Off ?09 Grand Finals at Los Angeles? Wiltern Theatre on January 8th. No word on whether this is a one-off deal, but given the fact that Chad Smith is involved in like 13 other projects, we?re guessing it is.

Ya, probably a one off.

Matt's so connected and well respected/liked amongst his peers, anything's possible.

They need to work on this description:

*Former Guns ?N? Roses drummer Matt Sorum presents a free two-night showcase of his Darling Stilettos Rock ?n? Roll A Go Go at the Lounge in the Palms. It features four deliciously dangerous dancers singing and dancing and changing costumes while he plays drums along with a guitarist.
