DJ seems like the last piece in the puzzle to me. Completion isn't what you foresee, it's ultimately what sees you. From 2000 to here has been a progression.

He fits this band like a glove, and seems to have had the least turbulent 'settling in' period of almost any member to date.

I knew it as soon as it was announced, so nothing DJ does shocks or surprises me, cause I knew how awesome he was a long time ago

absolute perfect fit for GNR and yes, u want to talk about GNR getting back to number 1 on the charts, when he and Axl start collaborating... LOOK OUT!

DJ's a great guy, talked to him on Facebook today and he seemed really nice and down to Earth. Can't wait to see the guys in Canada or (hopefully) a US tour.

DJ has been amazing so far. A GREAT and much needed addition (and I'm as big a Robin fan as there is out there...).

As far as "This I Love" goes... DJ will get it worked out... wouldn't lose a second's sleep over that... and perhaps there's some poetic justice here considering how much shit Robin used to take for supposedly "butchering" some of Slash's solos... hihi

I hope that they include DJ's The Ballad of Death in GN'R's Chinese Democracy II and have it lead in to a song that starts off similar to SCOM, if a song like that exists in the GN'R vault of unreleased songs.

From what I've heard, he corrected the "mistakes" from the TIL solo in the past couple shows.  It's all good.

Dj is pure Karizma, more than Robin. Robin now have long hair, now short, now beard...

For me now we can see the three best guitarrist for Guns N' Roses, they are awsome!!! This is the best Guns N' Roses Tour!

Can't wait to see Canadian shows!!!

In Classics Of GN'R, their sound is to be listening to a CD (Ilussions, AFD, Lies).

Watching DJ play live, is so much fun... That goes to watching everyone else playing, together; makes all of the hassle and stress of getting here, worth every inch.

That's a part of what I'm looking forward to when I actually see them live in a few weeks. It's no secret that I'm a pretty big Robin fan, but I'm very excited about the chance to see DJ with GN'R.

The bootlegs and YouTube clips are nice but they don't really give you the idea of what the band is playing like together live. I don't know if what I'm trying to say makes sense, but hopefully so. In any case, I'm looking very forward to seeing DJ play with the band in a few weeks.  peace

I am not crazy about him (don't like his tone at all) but I must say the ballad of death is amazing.

If it were on CD (even as an istrumental) I would easily rank it in the top 3 along with TWAT and Maddy.  beer

On Ashba's facebook he has a video showing off his guitars from his "Demented Collection." Near the end of the video you can hear the beginning of a some kind of studio version of the "ballad of death." Does anyone know where to find the whole song? I have the recordings from the concerts but i do not have this version and i can not find it anywhere

yea i kno he wrote it for the tour. i was just hoping that some1 had found the version i heard in vid cause i cant find it anywhere. quite a powerful song
