Brush fire erupts in canyon along Malibu coast

MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - Los Angeles County firefighters have launched an attack on a small brush fire in a canyon along the Malibu coast.

The Fire Department says the wind-driven 2?-acre fire was reported shortly before 12:30 p.m. Friday at Latigo Canyon and Pacific Coast Highway.

A SuperScooper aircraft is dropping loads of water on the blaze.
