fair enough. but a lot of Axl's lyrics have deep meaning, especially on CD, and especially that song. and the band doesn't communicate often, and when it has recently, some of it has been cryptic. so it's fair to wonder if there is more to the post than just simply lyrics to a song. in fact, i think we would be "numb and na?ve" to assume there is NOT something more there.

I'm hoping they are not being cryptic, or if they are, the message is more positive than i suggested. but if the next post from GnR is:

"You don't know why, I won't give in. To hell with the pressure, I'm not cavin' in"

then i'll be 100% convinced it's off.  hihi

Honestly.  I think whoever posted the lyrics to Madagascar was just saying that nobody is going to force them to make a statement.

I agree, the underlined part is being taken out of context completely ignoring the rest of the song  lyrics that was posted.

Yes. I really believe TB and Axl are taking the we do not negotiate with terrorists train of thought.  The media feeds on fear and drama  to increase their audience.  Which to me is a form of emotional terrorism.

oh, didnt see this before! thank you! my friend found that same picture in a december magazine yesterday in a radio momo ad. very surprised how much the picture and program got circulated. it was a lot of fun!
