These just validate my opinion on Eddie Trunk which I have discussed in great detail in the past.

Are these last tweets in response to something he said? If so, what was it? I thought they were somewhat related to Scott's comments.

There is no way to even know who is saying those things from the GNR twitter... so it's like...

true but I think it is a response to Eddie Trunk and Scott Weiland. People seem to think that since they have contacts to industry insiders that their words and opinions hold more weight and validity.

TB makes their own problems with crap like this.  Its hard to pity them much of the time.

I doubt they give a shit and have likely not given a shit for some time.  But some of their more vocal defenders, man, they don't do those folks any favors with bullshit like this.

I thinkg the GNR brand and legacy is very important to Axl and TB. when they want to reveal information about what the future plans are, they will. It is fine for regular folks to have hopes and speculations. But when people like Eddie Trunk and Scott Weiland jump on the bandwagon it just complicates things. and not in a good way. and it seems there are online pseudo journalists like aternate nation who pick up stuff from forums and run with it. Nobody does any research to check out any facts or provide any proof. that is hardly good journalism.

What's wrong with saying that? When the are ready to say something, they will say it instead of saying it then having people create bullshit rumors. All they said was people are looking at what happen (Axl and slash being friends) and jumping the gun by coming to the crazy conclusion that they are reuniting. They (us, the "journalist") are looking at something to hard. Why are we giving attention to the bullshit lies that are being released? Nothing is fact about the band unless/until the band confirms it. Scott and trunk broke the ice, I hope these tweets get the message out that nobody saying anything except for the confirmed albums (reunions, tours, etc) has any idea what they are talking about. It's all click bait.

i think maybe it was a bad idea to give management an identity, such as "team brazil"

it has only opened the door for criticism no matter what they do or don't do.

without using google, how many here can name radiohead's management? metallica's? justin bieber? taylor swift? m?tley cr?e? mot?rhead?

not defending management here, just pointing out that if they weren't branded they wouldn't be under as much scrutiny by so many nutjobs...
