he has moaned about the start times, the lack of creativity , having to reschedule his solo dates... but he keeps coming back so obviously they are meaningless complaints... i think all of his complaints are valid ha but come on

counting down till the end of this tour ... is the worst one to date... it looks really bad

I just love the current line up so much I hope they stay together forever.   When my son Jim is old enough, I want him to be able to enjoy this lineup it would be a dream come true for him.   Ron has been with us a long time.  I hope these are rumors.

What's that passive aggressive bullshit?  That is done solely to put himself over to the fans saying "hey, I'm with you, but this isn't my fault".

People just need to relax a bit with the BBF criticisms.  He is a guitarist in a rock band.  This is not an accounting firm where you need to follow the company manual on how to properly express your work grievances.  GnR does not have a human resources ombudsman.  When he's pissed, he says so in whatever forum or manner he pleases and I respect him for it.  That does not mean he's perpetually disgruntled and wants to leave the band.   And none of whatever bothers him has stopped him from playing lights out at the shows, which is the bottom line and all that should matter to fans.

Bumblefoot does more for the fans than any other member of GN'R- fact. He is so open and perhaps that is the problem BUT he is REAL! I respect him so much for this.

The guy goes to every extreme to meet and communicate with the fans, cut him some slack.

so true, and after that accident, with a serious spinal cord problem, going on tour and still deliver at the level he does on stage is remarcable. It's unfair to judge him on some internet outburs, as he doesn't care about the band when i'm sure he did a personal sacrafice to make that tour happen. His balls do clang  . For showing that comitment alone, as a GNR fan he'll forever live in my heart

I agree.  It's passive aggressive as hell.  I'm not a fan of that sort of behavior.

Look, I don't think you can criticize someone for having a feeling.  But, how they behave in response to that feeling can be criticized.  I think dirty laundry should be not aired publicly.

But, at the end of the day, I'm inclined to think at this point that the reason BBF pointed out this specific part of the was because of the tweet the other day (even though he made no direct connection).  Even though I'm not a fan of it, especially that incident during the 2012 Euro tour, it seems to be something he does from time to time.  He's aware of it too. 

Personally, I would try to modify my behavior if it was problematic for my colleagues and/or friends ("those around me"), but that's for each of us to decide for ourselves.

I get why it's generally not right to air out dirty laundry, I do.  The thing is, with musicians, freedom of expression is everything and does not exist in just the vacuum of a stage or studio.  I think, for many of them, any filters on how they express themselves in any capacity seeps into and can mess with their creative process or performance.   I much prefer him to be the pain in the band's ass that he is who plays like his life depends on it, rather than a PC good trooper who who dogs it on stage or just doesn't have the chops.

Rock on Ron! I for one think his attitude is right on. I don't read in his comments that all of his frustrations or negative feelings are from GN'R-but definitely some of them appear to be. But who can blame him? And what's all this talk about keeping it hush hush? We're GN'R fans-we know what the fuck he is talking about! So again, I say Rock on Ron and lets light a fire under the ass of this thing, march GN'R across the globe like Sherman through Georgia and start slingin' records again!

Aren't we all doing that though? Playing with a company/organization/boss/band we lost interest in, for a paycheck? Give the man a break, he is just one of the many of us who does not necessarily enjoy his current employer...but needs the paycheck! Because let's face it, who would know about him without GNR? So it kind of works out...same as for us getting our asses to work every day, collecting the paycheck, complaining to our wives and friends about how much our company sucks, but we're still go there every day.

I understand and I agree with you. BBF has always been open with the fans. However this is not the issue. We all know that Axl is the boss. He is in control, right? Well he better show me he is in control because it doesn?t look like. We all agree that BBF complaint many times in the past. Why many times? After the first time he should?ve been told not to vent in public. Not only that He should?ve been told to discuss whatever problem only with Axl and management and nobody else. One more public complaint and you pack your bags.

For example I didn?t like the fact that BBF had his own show or clinic or whatever that was in Sao Paulo. Do that in your free time budy not during a tour.

Axl already has a reputation for being a dictator.  I don't see how exercising more "control", being more authoritarian and inflexible will help anything.  I think it will only create resentment from the rest of the band who have other projects they want to work on.  I think being accommodating and flexible only helps engender good will.
