In the lower right corner of the window is a woman's face and she looks extremely sad. 
Axl should have his house blessed just in case that is a soul that needs help. (A lot of churches bless homes this time of year)

1.  Do you really think that Axl doesn't believe in ghosts?  I would think he would be open-minded that it's possible.
2.  If that really just is some kind of statue, why does Axl have a decapitated head statue in his front window?

It was a horrible tragedy indeed. 230+ people died. I can't imagine the pain their families and friends must be under right now. A guy from my board lost 5 buddies on the fire.

Clubs should be safer than this.

I'm hoping its not true that security was blocking people from leaving because they hadn't paid. Hard to believe sparklers caused it, because we all play with that as kids in the summer. At least they had a working fire extinguisher, even if it was a losing battle. There's clubs, restaurants, etc that don't. And let's not forget strip clubs, which happened 2 months ago due to a gas explosion in New England. 

I hope whenever the guys in GNR play club shows, they are making everyone's safety as high of a priority as they do when they have the full balls to the wall pyro show, and at least there, they're in capable hands and making sure no one gets roasted on stage, or accidents happen off. Even in transporting pyros, things on the road can happen. I have friends who do welding, and if they were around anything flammable, those sparks could easily set it off.

All eyes are on Brazil for hosting the World Cup, and hearing about club fires also reflects on all the sports bars that are going to be crammed with people. I don't think some drunk asshole's going to bring fireworks in, but something like faulty wiring could set a place like that off. This is on another level from the Great White fire because this is something people from everywhere are coming to Brazil for. I don't think Santa Maria's a host  city, but we know bars will be packed for it, and now people have to worry about if the club or bar is safe, not just terrorists and hooligans.
 
Keep the fireworks outside or left in the hands of professionals.

Real tragic and an outrage. My heart goes out to the families and friends of everyone who didn't make it out, nice of the members of GNR on Twitter account to all bring it up to their followers, and hope no one in the GNR camp lost anyone from this.

I guess all we can do is know where the exits are when we go to a place we're not familiar with, but I don't trust any club owner with my life. Whenever I've seen them do makeover shows for restaurants or clubs, they're always bringing safety up.
