I dunno guys.  The way things tend to go down with GNR during and post-production, if they are in fact rerecording the entire album, we could still be waiting a long, long time before we hear it.  Undecided

May be nice to hear a more organic sounding record, as opposed to songs that have been rerecorded and played with for years, but I can see why they would want to get the new guys involved with any future release.

Tommy has always had spurts of talking w/ fans via social media, but these last few days he's given us more useful info than ever IMO

The funny thing is nowhere have I read or seen any indication that these upcoming tours are part of the Chinese Democracy World Tour.  I don't see anywhere that is what this is being billed as.

Or maybe it's only in certain areas of the planet among a select little group of people where it's a concern what the tour is called.

The rest of us are just excited and happy to see our favorite band live.

It's not necessarily a bad thing.  I didn't say it was or mean to imply it was.  The point is that I haven't seen anything (press release, tour posters/promotion) that indicates that this is actually being billed as part of the CD world tour.  Yet, there seems to be so much assumption and subsequent complaining about the band touring again under the CD world tour banner.  Before someone complains about that, they should make sure that this is in fact considered/billed as the CD world tour.

I just don't get those who choose to focus on that. But then again, if you're never happy about anything, it's expected.

Five years without a tour in your country and then when there's a tour, you start to whine about what it's in support of? Really?

No kidding... I haven't seen Guns N' Roses since Dec 2006 in Seattle.  Ever since then i've been waiting for them to tour the US again.  Now that it seems they're coming back I'm excited as hell.  Axl could cover Tiny Tim's tip toe through the tulips and I still wouldn't complain.

^^Agreed beer people seem to get themselves tied in knots about everything, why can`t it just unfold naturally and just enjoy it for what it is a band that you like going on tour what can be upsetting about that ok
