That's true, but it must take it out of you abit.

Can't be fun to do all that travelling, and then have loads of fans waiting for you at the airport. I know it's not anyone's fault, but it can't be pleasent after them long hours.

That's why I never wait around places like that looking for band members, just showing respect. 

(But I know those who choose to, are only showing their support. But I'm giving my view, on the subject.)

same here, my longest flight was about 9 or 10 hours (London to Seattle), i cant imagine doing more than that   its such a pain in the ass to be stucked in a plane for so long, especially when you're a person like me, who can't sleep the day before with the excitement, neither can sleep in the plane  

I can relate, Seattle to Lisbon back in 06, longest flight of my life, but worth it, saw GNR for first time in years and at RIR taboot

Saw GNR in Arnhem (Netherlands) back in October. All it involved was a 7 hour flight from Brisbane (Australia) to Singapore, 3hrs waiting at Changi airport. 13 hours from Singapore to London, 3hrs stopover at Heathrow and then another 1 hour flight between London and Amsterdam... (27hrs in total)

I was going there anyway for a holiday, but 3 days into it, was when I saw GNR and the trip was designed largely around my attending the concert...

Haha, sounds like Tommy agrees with general fan consensus.

By bleak, I assume and hope he means the weather. QLD is an amazing place in terms of indefinite things to do although Townsville itself isn't really the be all and end all for the tourism industry up there.
