Do they always go off topic during rehearsals?  I've heard them, they've got this stuff down.  I don't think they need to practice.  Start roaming off into other things and I think the creative juices are flowing and it's time to collaborate and see what you come up with.

The video's and websites are cool, I'm enjoying it but the guys are musicians.  I'm seeing a lot of creativity.  Music lasts forever.  They know better but I think it's time to turn rehearsals into creating.

Of course there is always the possibility they get too involved in that and forget we are waiting at the show.  Cheesy

Trust me if they didn't rehearse for shows, the concert would sound different. They have to be in tune with each other and make sure that certain parts of songs are being played the same as before or maybe they want to extend a bridge or whatever. They also bring out the creativity when they develop their solos, especially Rons and DJ's And also they have been on break since the South American tour, you expect them to just take a break and do nothing together but jump back on stage and expect synchronization?

It's not just for the band. It's the whole production.

There's a lot going on during the shows besides the actual musical performance.

Everything needs to be in place before the first show so that you get the proper experience.

From facebook:

Frank Ferrer likes Tommy Stinson.

The following twitters are apparently in reply to the Bumblefoot Meet N' Greet that Bumblefoot wasn't invited to:

bumblefoot
Norway is now too close to set up - I'm in GNR-guitarist-on-tour mode and need to stay in that mode, can't get distracted with exactly what I was distracted by all weekend. St. Petersburg couldn't happen because I'm flyin' in right before the show and headin' right out, no time... Tongue A meet-n-greet still might be possible at Sweden Rock. If I have any more news on this stuff I'll let y'all know immediately Smiley

Or perhaps a ripple in the time/space continuum that caused me to jump ahead past the meet-n-greet. And perhaps the responses to the emails, website & Facebook messages I sent the store to re-schedule for Monday actually arrived 40 years ago, during my birth, to a place we now call... 'Zimbabwe'.

Let's just call it mis-communication. I tried folks, I really tried. Sorry I couldn't make it happen for Monday before the show.

The store probably thought all meet-n-greet plans were confirmed, when approached by the other person that I never had any contact with...

My advice is to actually have contact with the artist first. Then make plans together. It's a good way to get the artist to show up.

Oh yeah you're right.  Prep work for the show.

Okay guys you need to quit screwing around and playing that other metal stuff and stick to your guns.

Bumblefoot A little something I've been meaning to write for a while... GNR's opening acts - they're our friends, they have our support, they're important to us, and they're *good* Smiley I've seen a lot of opening acts take a beating from crowds at shows, and I appreciate that GNR fans make our bands feel welcome. Show's gonna be startin' soon - show *all* the bands what a great fkn crowd you are!

Thanks!

That's a phallic symbol.  Shocked

So I'm thinking Tommy and DJ on a motorcycle riding/directing/filming while Richard runs.
