The appreciation of the press comments stand out for me. Could it be that the media have learned that with Gn'R that if they report the fact that Axl's will acknowledge them? The next step for them would be to ask Axl for an interview without the carping on about the pastmemberschickencoupinstallingnotreallyguns'nrosesisithiredgunsalwayslateanddoesn'tgetitthatthefanswanttobeinbedatmidnightbullshitin' comments that they normally rake up. Ask the man about the future, ask about how the tour went, ask if the world can expect to hear new music in the coming years but not the boring lazy journalism we normally get.

thanks Axl hope you had a good birthday the great thing about tweeting is no one can alter his words or add there own spin  to them like a lot of journalists do, also the communication it gives him to the fans means we can see what a decent person he is who just wants to have fun at the shows and wants the fans to as well keep tweeting please:)

@ richwoman so true. to be honest i much prefer reading what they actually say (type) on these tweets, those forum chats and mail interviews than ill edited and paraphrased interviews on the magazines. nice pics and tweets from the band members and axl's tweets  are humorous grateful and modest contrary to what the media and its tools have said of him.
