but if they bring people in who normally wouldn't go... I'm all for that.

Toronto has been sold out for ages (nothing but a handful of resale seats left), so I don't think it's about who will go because of Billy Talent. BT are simply one of the biggest bands in Canada, with a new album coming out. Looks like they picked a big local act as opener, which makes sense as far as giving something back to fans. It's kinda like having Chris Stapleton in Nashville. Big local name.

Skrillex popularized dubstep. Interesting pick. Will he go over better than Mix Master Mike? Hmm..

I take it you're a fan. I don't know that much about him other than a Howard Stern interview. Wasn't trying to slight him. I am not hip to the Electronic or EDM or Dup Step music scene. A different genre of music than GNR plays. A great opportunity for Skrillex to gain new fans.

Metallica has already been a huge supporter and fan of Skrillex; they've had huge exposure through Metallica for awhile now--
