Robin is selling a bunch of gear on eBay. Among the items listed so far are some that might interest GN'R fans. For example a Wine Red Les Paul, that he used to play "Better": You can see the guitar in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyhEu6L-CVUThere's also a Maxon CS9Pro Stereo Chorus Pedal which was used for the "Chinese Democracy" solo (on the record).... This was the pedal I used in the 'Chinese Democracy' solo, and elsewhere throughout that record. I like the way it sounds. I have another one. /jarmo |

Robin regards this item:I really loved this guitar. It was a song specific piece in two very different environments. I played it on a song called 'Better' in one, 'Discipline' the other. I think I played it on the Fragility tour too, though I can't remember the song(s). The headstock looks terrible. It got 'dropped' and I don't know if it will ever be the same. I can't bare to see it like this. Someone take it away.Thanks J.

Low bids don't mean they won't go a lot higher. I can't imagine how much stuff these guys can pile up. Guess you have to part with some of it once in a while. Wonder if the headstock was completely severed or just cracked... also the repair seems the be fairly sloppy.
I love project guitars, but its really hard to tell from these pics, though "broken" guitars have character.
